![]() M235R sortof fell into a donut hole of performance for the US. M4 GT4 was the true successor as the GS cars were production tubs, once the GT4 ruleset coalesced the E92's sunsetted, GT4 was built around more "customer friendly" newer generation of cars (almost all automatics, partially because performance advantage, partially because gentleman drivers can be real hard on a real manual). The racing team not the sold parts company. Also I believe that was the only wing approved so if BW ran one it would be the same thing. ![]() I'd focus on contacting Fall Line as they built a good chunk of all the e92s run in GS. ![]() Professional installation recommended, requires drilling through trunklid. Custom order charged a non-refundable 50% of price upon order, balance upon shipment. This item is hand-made to order and has a 4-6 week production time from date of order. ![]() Ultra lightweight, made in USA, can be left bare carbon fiber, may be painted. This is the official Grand Am wing as used in the 2010 Grand Am race at Daytona by Fall Line Motorsports (Pole Position qualifier), Rum Bum Racing (1st Place Win), and Kinetic Motorsports. Please note: fits coupes only, will not fit sedan. Assume it's a copy of the UUC wing given the racing success.Įxclusively from UUC! Grand Am spec wing for E92 M3 (fits all 2007-2011 3-series coupes). I noticed BW has a version for sale, but they wouldn't share much info other than it's made to "their race specs". I'll reach out to the listed race teams to see if they'll share any old data on the specs. Suggested it would pair / balance nicely with 3" and under front lip. While he doesn't have any of the old spec sheets given it was a decade ago, he designed these wings to meet GA specs and they're a real downforce generating wing (vs some of the other smaller wings that act more as spoilers). I am guessing an 11 hour job total but plan on stretching this over a few days.Anyone interested in joining me to meet the minimum order quantity (x 2) to have UUC make these? Some mechanics SWEAR by them and all be it slightly pricier, are well worth it. Just wanted to know if anyone used the Fel Pro kit. Numerous users report a repeat occurrence short miles later. Rumor has it this kit is NOT much better then the originals. One thing that I have read is to AVOID the GM replacement kit. So I will be tackling this project myself. I am fairly mechanically inclined and have all the tools to get the job done. After lots of reading I discover the infamous 3.4 LIM replacement. NO tail pipe smoke and no external leaks. Head gasket seems to be ok as no milky oil. The coolant wasn't bone dry just a small internal weep. Just before parking it this past winter we had noticed the "low coolant" light coming on. converter and ignition cylinder (it seized)įortunately with ZERO winter miles and the car virtually sitting 4 months of the year I have kept miles low, repairs minimum, and have been able to pay off the vehicle completely. Besides new tires, I have only had to replace the cat. Original owners, never winter driven and only 95,000 kms on it. I have an 02 Grand Am up here in O'Canada.
