![]() Moreno though easily stands himself up, but is noticeably fatigued which Askarov takes advantage of and knees Morenos body before landing a solid combination. Both men attempt shots, the shots miss and are labored, before Askarov successfully takes the fight to the canvas for the third time in the round. Moreno manages a foot sweep which gets the fight back standing. ![]() Moreno again does a good job defending from bottom position but Askarov with side control lands repeatedly. Askarovs control of Morenos back allows him to continue his takedown attempt, and eventually he lands the second takedown in addition to some shots to the head of Moreno in the process. Moreno does a good job defending from bottom position and repeatedly attempts to stand himself up but continues to give Askarov his back in the process. During this takedown Moreno catches Askarov with a left hand, but ultimately the fight still hit the canvas. Askarov then knees Moreno in the stomache and proceeds to take Moreno down. Round 2: Moreno begins the round with a flurry of looping shots, none of which appear to connect. Moreno running to the other side of the cage as the round ended also was not a good look and had there been more time it would have been viewed as him refusing to engage his opponent. Moreno in contrast was not offensive when Askarov had control of him. ^ This is a clear 10-9 round in favor of Askarov, due to his takedown, the damage he inflicted on Moreno when he took him down, and him remaining offensive from bottom position after the reversal. Askarov attempts to take Moreno down again before the bell but Moreno easily shakes him off, however Moreno then proceeds to run to the other side of the cage and remains there for the final few seconds. Both men trade shots, and the commentators appear to believe Askarov is wobbled but he continues to be offensive so this should be disregarded. He eats a few shots on the way up but gets up nonetheless. Moreno assumes top position but can't pass the guard of Askarov, who is repeatedly elbowing Moreno and upkicking which forces Moreno to back up enough that Askarov is able to get back to his feet. Moreno had his toes in the fence when he got the reversal, which is obviously illegal, but nonetheless he got the reversal. Moreno "wall walks" his way into a reversal.
